Synopsis:

That’s when Rui Xi decided to disguise herself as a boy and gets accepted. At first, she completely embarrasses herself by telling Quan she really likes him, momentarily forgetting that she was disguised as a boy. Then, she meets Jin Xui Yi (Jiro Wang) and they became immediate friends.

One Day, while Xui Yi is playing soccer with Rui Xi, he accidentally hit Rui Xi in the face and causes her to faint. Coincidently, Quan was passing by. Quan saw whats happening and immediately rushes over. Calmly, he sends Xui Yi to go and get help. Quan then decides to lift Rui Xi to the Nurses Office and places his hands over her chest (which he finds out her true identity in the process. Although, Quan decides to keep quiet and see what this girl is up to. Mei Tian (Tang Zhi Ping), the school’s gay nurse, also found out about Rui Xi’s identity. However, he claims to have no interests whatsoever in revealing her secret. Rui Xi and Mei Tian then develops a unique relationship as she often goes to him for help and advice. He often times pretends he dislikes Rui Xi’s presence in his office…when in reality he’s becoming quite fond of this young girl.

Back to Quan: One morning while walking to class, he sees Rui Xi walking along with Liang Si Nan (Danson Tang). Knowing that Nan has a reputation of a playboy. Worried for Rui Xi, he rushed after them. After all, Nan has already suspected Rui Xi’s gender. Later, when Quan finally catches up, he sees the two of them sitting in the auditorium drinking coffee. Soon, Quan and Rui Xi became good friends.

Though they have became good friends, Rui Xi decides to keep her pretending because she’s afraid her identity would ruin their relationship, and the same goes for Quan. Also, as Quan finds out about Rui Xi’s feelings towards him, he begins to develop feelings for her as well. In fact, she has such huge impact on him, she inspired him to take high jumping again.

However, Rui Xi finds herself confused when another problem rises….Xui Yi begins to question his sexual orientation when he, too, falls for Rui Xi (not knowing that she’s a girl in disguised). Xui Yi thinks he is a gay and fell in love with Rui Xi - the boy…

My Review…

I literally fell in love with this series after the first five minutes. The plot is very unique. Everyone played their role well (or in my opinion they did!). A definite recommend!

Ella Chen - Lu Rui Xi

To my opinions, Ella did great in portraying the role of Lu Rui Xi. The cute part, the silly part, the clumsy part, etc…she’s a perfect Lu Rui Xi!

Wu Zun - Zou Yi Quan

Hmm…lets see. Wu Zun did okay as Zou Yi Quan. Personally I don’t think his acting is 100% professional just yet. Some parts look sorta fake. But! His stunningly handsome looks covered up most of the important parts. He and Ella has amazing chemistry on screen and off screen. Which is awesome!

 

Jiro Wang - Jin Xui Yi

There were times during the series when I felt so sorry for Xui Yi. But at the end, good people get good results. Although his character made me laugh the most. I felt that he played his role really well. Go Jiro Wang!

Tang Zhi Ping - Mei Tian

Tang Zhi Ping as Mei Tian! Oh my goodness! This guy drove me insane. I couldn’t breathe from laughing so hard. At first, he kinda creeps me out because of his weird choice of topics for conversations, but he’s quite entertaining.

Danson Tang - Liang Si Nan

Danson also looks really good too. He did a great job in portraying the playboy type of guy. Good job Danson!

 

 

 

However, the ending was rather disappointing…good thing there’s gonna be a sequel coming out in early 2008, right? So stay tuned for more Ella and Wu Zun!
